What has been your biggest challenge living for God, has there been any obstacles that have hindered your wanlk, or kept you from going to church? If so, what do you think would be the answer to your situation, I know God can take care of everything, if we could just learn to depend solely on him Faith in our homes is extremely important, just as vital as our own relationship with Christ. In a world of sorrow and much sin that runs rampid, we need to show by example, that God is the way to true happiness and peace. In this world, there is no real peace, just limited contentment for a short period in time. It is not real peace, but true peace comes from knowng God. By living for God, and setting the platform for your child, we send a message to them while they are young, a life style of that of a christian. How we are to walk and talk to God, to be able to go to him with all of our troubles. Children are a gift from God, we should treat that gift with love and care. Proverbs 22:6 Trainupachild in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Let God show you what his will may be for your lives, ask for wisdom in raising your family. James 1:5James 1:5King James Version (KJV)5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
This will be a great lesson learned, to give your child the gift that keeps on giving, a gift that shows them the continuing and unfailing love of a Savior. God will protect his children, teach them at a very young age of the constant communication with the Father by your continuing communication in front of your children. Take your children and get them rooted into a Bible based church. They need to feel strength from loved ones and a church family, and the learning about the world and the guiding hand of a good Sunday school teacher. Many children go to a public school, their idea of teaching is not the learning about the Bible and of God and his son. On the play ground, they hear and see just how cruel the world can be. It is not easy growing up, let alone finding one's self in a cruel and wicked sinful world. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, give them this knowledge while they are young enough to appreciate him. If we wait until they are much older, they may not want to hear about God.nday school teacher. Start a nightly Bible reading with your children, get the whole family involved, so they would be used to the fact that this is what our parents do and how they live. Find great biblical movies and shows that would give them good morals for the children. Take them to family outings with the church, such as picnics and fellowship night or an ice cream social. Begin to live the life, they will learn more when you go through pressures, that their mom and dad will trust in God.
Make home a place of refuge for your family, not just to supply their physical and emotional needs, but spiritual. Guide them through a daily reading of scripture and allow them to ask questions, but be ready to answer correctly by studying the word. Children today need a place of hope not just in their church but at home also.
It is that time of year again parents, school is beginning. Oh this can be a great time of learning for your child, and a very difficult time in their lives. Bullying and drugs, and so much is going on in the public schools today. You ask yourself, is it worth it or should I just homeschool, or try to afford the Christian private school route. I know this is hard on the parents, they go to work concerned for their children. Stay prayed up, teach your children to rely on God and you. Nothing worse that a kid that may feel they cannot tell their parents their troubles. The anxiety levels can be over the top for your child. Have nightly and daily pray time with them. Ask them if there is anything that they would like to share with you, how was their day, how did you feel through the day, on and on, open the doors to communication. As a grandmother I too have concerns, now for my little loved ones. Oh if I could I would wrap them up and take them to a safe haven until they grown up. But we all know that would never happen. Bad things happen to good people. My dearest friend used to tell me, It rains on the just and on the unjust. How true is that statement, she also reminded me of the fact the our prayer life is our lifeline to God. What a wise and caring loving friend she was to me. God sent this dear old lady my way. Reach out your lifeline and talk with him, tell him of your concerns. Teach your young ones the same, help them to learn to rely on God. Give them the armor needed for each day. Teach them of salvation and how Jesus came into this world to die for us all. Pray with your kids, dont leave it up to someone else. This is your gift from God, treat them as such.
